Hautes Cote de Beaune
Pinot Noir from their family vineyards in Chorey-Lès-Beaune and Savigny-Lès-Beaune. 10 days maceration, then aged for 6 months in old barrels. Not fined or filtered. 10ppm SO2 added before bottling.
Nice mix of light red berries, milk chocolate on the nose, with hints of stems and ozone/salt. Extremely well made. Light, bright, crafted precisely. Red cherry and spice, with a sappy touch. Great perfume and overall restraint. Fine boned and delicious, with linear drive and silky mouthfeel. Shows incredible winemaking skills in a challenging year, this is very pleasing to drink. Serve slightly chilled.
