An excellent year that required hard work in the vineyard to control disease pressure and canopy growth but the hard work paid off. A classic Yarra Valley growing season with a long and mild Summer with regular rainfall at the right time.
60% whole bunch, 3 weeks on skins then pressed to 500 litre French oak puncheons (13% new) and left un-sulfured for 15 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration.
