RS8 Riesling

This RS is our first pick from the caveat vineyard and as such is the most closed right now. The first pick always represents more tension with fruit profiles being far more austere. So please throw a few in the cellar to revisit over the coming 2-3 decades. Pale lemon in colour. Upon opening the bottle the nose is really subtle with notes of white peach, guava, lime zest. Dry and high piercing fresh lemon juice acid and flavours of white peach and tart pineapple. The finish is chalky and squeaky clean.
