Black cherry, bubblegum and forest floor on the nose with a lively palate of blue and purple fruits. The tannins are soft, supple but present with the carbonic element adding an energetic edge. 65% whole bunches were placed in a stainless steel tank with hand destemmed berries layered gently on top and sealed shut, and leaving them to their own devices for 5 weeks before gently pressing off in a hand basket press. Aged in stainless steel for 8 months then bottled in November 2022.
