Strong cropping led us to drop some fruit in January in order to concentrate the optimum bunches. This fruit was harvested by hand at first light, before being crushed cold to fermenters to soak and await the natural ferment from indigenous yeast. After an eleven day ferment the wine was pressed out to neutral oak. Created with minimal interference, this wine is a proud representation of its variety and unique terroir.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\" class=\"preFade fadeIn\"\u003eAll the expressive hallmarks of Barbera are present here. We especially revel in the blue fruits and violets present both aromatically and on the palate.
