Upper Yarra Pinot Noir

Upper Yarra Pinot Noir shows up with a serious perfume and flavour structure. It opens with a fragrant strawberry, red cherry, mulberry and pomegranate tang. The fruit is framed in fine spice of pink peppercorn, nutmeg and cloves. All this is filled with umami notes of fresh button mushroom and wet forest floor. Fine, silty tannins sink in red berry juice and very fresh, lightly salty acidity. Very elegant Pinot and built to last, or at least let it evolve in the glass.
