An expression of its terroir, Piccolo Derthona is a wine made from young Timorasso vines. As the French teach, each wine has a base, a cru, and a so-called petit (small) to indicate the pyramid scale of quality.

Vineyard: Located in Costa Vescovato (AL), planted in 2013, 

250 m above sea level, south-west exposure

Sixth plant: 0.83x2.60 - Guyot training system

Yield per hectare:  85 q./ha.  

Harvest: early September, hand-picked into crates
