Our vineyard has two aspects of Pinot Noir; north and south facing. The Estate Pinot Noir comes from the cooler, south facing block. We pick this block 2-3 weeks after the north facing site. Acidity maintained through its cooler aspect and deeper, loamy soils. It is a combination of MV6 and 777 clones, with fermentation in 2000L vats using 50% whole bunch. Maturation was completed in French barriques (25% new) for 10 months.
