Made from Sangiovese and Colorino grapes which slowly ripen due to the high position of the vineyards. The aging takes place for 30% in barrels for about 8 months, the rest is refined in stainless steel vats. The wine is ruby red, elegant nose with fresh notes and red fruits aromas, a typical sign of the well-preserved grapes. The flavour is well balanced, with an evident acidity that leads to a vibrant and pleasurable finish.
Crociferro 2020 offers a bright ruby-red colour. The bouquet of red fruits and dry plums is perfectly balanced with hints of undergrowth.
On the palate, the well-integrated tannins offer a soft texture with persistent aromas of cherries and berries, and a touch of spiciness comes to complete the delicate complexity of the wine.
