A blend made up from barrel and amphora. Pale colour with a green tint. I can pick up some wood on the nose but not too much. The Montée de Tonnerre really does have significantly more body than the other 1ers crus, though the wood becomes quite present at the back. Yet there is easily enough fruit to cover it, in time.
