The fruit for this Meursault comes from ‘Les Forges’, neighbour to ‘Meix Chavaux’ with soils composed of limestone and gravel. Golden in colour and great aromatic intensity; honey, linden flower, hazelnut butter, chamomile. On the palate a beautiful silky roundness evolves into favours of white stone fruit driven by a great minerality and linear drive. Sustainable agriculture with harvesting by hand over a number of days
with each plot selected on ripeness with strict sorting in the vineyards. The
wine is fermented in oak barrels before 12 months ageing in oak, 15% new
barrel. Bottled unfiltered.
