“This immediately engages the nose. Curiosity piques. What is it? The perfume. The scene here is intriguing. Pretty things: the combination of forest fruit, fresh rose petals, garden herbs but then also something darker like drying blood, wet rocks, dead flowers and amaro bitterness. The wine is quite light or medium-bodied max, sleek, with linear acidity, savoury profile, pinch of spice and fine but textural tannins. Lovely stuff, perhaps just missing a bit more flavour drive in the back..”
