Barbera

Barbera from King Valley; 100% destemmed, it spent two weeks fermenting on skins in concrete fermenters. Then it was pressed to old, large format oak for ageing over winter and spring. Bottled in October. This year's Barbera offers a bit more bright blue fruit than the 2023 vintage while still displaying very beautiful tannins with notes of dried herbs, liquorice and spices (black pepper). This wine can be served slightly chilled. - FF
