Whole bunches, neutral oak and a cool vintage resulted in a wine with a spice, amaro, soft red fruit and life energy pairing beautifully with food on the table and family by your side.
Over a very long lunch, 100% whole bunches were tipped into an open top fermenter and foot-stomped by small children. After two weeks of tasting and daily foot-stomping, the wine was basket pressed to two neutral French oak barrels, followed by lunch. The wine was in oak for 13 months before being bottled, followed by another great lunch. Just the way we always imagined it.
