Aylward

This is an opulent Chardonnay with a luscious layered mouthfeel. Reminiscent of Peach, Figs and Cashews that is harmonised on the palate with lovely acidity. The quality of the fruit grown from our 5-acres of Chardonnay is evident in the quality of this wine.

A contrast to the Verve Chardonnay. The grapes are hand picked 5-6 days riper from the same vineyard. The grapes are gently pressed and gravity fed into a mixture of new and used barrels. This has passed the citrus spectrum of flavours and has more of the Crème Brûlée flavours of a high quality Chardonnay. This wine is aging for 10-15 years and is a must to have in your high end section of the cellar.
