"Sumptuous chardonnay of chiseled edges, briny minerality, judicious nougat and sandalwood oak seasoning, the undercurrent of concentrated, just ripe nectarine, a squelchy of green pineapple and some slickness from toffee apple going on. Also, just a suggestion of white mushroom, a pleasing kinda savoury note through the palate. Density, persistence, almost palate staining in a way, with a freshness, just so, balancing out the generosity. Not the most turbo-charged release, perhaps an epoch of more restraint within the Pierro oeuvre. Class act, is the byline."
