This is made from the oldest (80 years) vines in the Rogeries vineyard (volcanic soils) and this is something really quite special; made in anfora and seasoned demi-muid. This recalls the wines of Richard Leroy with it's subtle reduction next to aromas of grilled nuts, fresh butter, sweet, fresh and tense fruit; a brilliant wine. A Loire take on Corton Charlemagne, this beautiful wine really takes you somewhere.
