Fawn - a new vineyard (for us). Brendan Cameron of Lansdowne share our view of organic viticulture and we are thrilled with this new partnership. The second vintage of those grapes is currently fermenting in barrel, and we hope it’ll turn out as good as the first one. Wine aged in old French barrels, untopped, so it developed that light nutty, oxidatif side to it. You could almost call it old-school, but the buttery character is feather-light. Quite austere.
